Welcome to the National Native American Law Students Association!
It is with great pleasure that the NNALSA Executive Board offers members and chapters the ability to complete web-based membership applications. We truly believe that this will provide you, our members, with greater security and convenience over the paper-based application used in years past. This new electronic application system will also provide NNALSA with greater options to serve our members in more efficient and productive ways.
NNALSA is committed to the success of Native American law students, exposing the legal community and the greater public to the issues that Native American people and tribal governments face under the law, and promoting the study of Federal Indian Law, Tribal Law, and traditional forms of governance.
The benefits of membership are long lasting and valuable. NNALSA provides its members with great networking opportunities with fellow Native American law students, Native American attorneys, tribal leaders, and many others who work within and outside of the Indian Law field. Members can expect regular communications from NNALSA concerning organizational events and other news.
Each year, NNALSA members have access to the Annual Washington D.C. Job Fair where firms, government agencies, and non-profit legal advocacy agencies recruit our members; the Annual NNALSA Moot Court Competition, the Annual NNALSA Writing Competition, and the NNALSA Annual Conference held in conjunction with the Federal Bar Association’s Indian Law Conference.
Below you will find links to the Individual and Chapter Membership Applications. Those wishing to apply as General Members (Native American Law Students, $25.00 per year), Associate Members (Non-Native American Law Students, $25.00 per year), Alumni Members (Native American Law Graduates ($25.00 per year), and Friends of NNALSA/Sponsor ($100.00 per year) please follow the link to the Individual Membership Application. The Chapter Application is for those who would like to apply as a campus chapter of NNALSA; the dues are $50.00 per year.
NNALSA has made significant strides in the last few years and none of this could have been accomplished without you, our active and supportive membership. We look forward to what the future has in store and developing new and creative ways to support our membership through professional leadership, recognizing our unique relationship to the United States legal system, and our commitments to our cultures and communities.
Please rest assured that this new web-based application system is secure and your personal information will not be used for any purpose other than NNALSA business.
If you have any questions about how the process works please feel free to contact the NNALSA Treasurer, via email at treasurer@nationalnalsa.org
