The Native American Rights Fund is a non-profit national Indian law firm representing Indian tribes, organizations, and individuals in Indian law matters of major significance. NARF’s main office is in Boulder, Colorado, with additional offices in Washington, D.C. and Anchorage, Alaska. NARF is looking for an experienced attorney with excellent research and writing skills to assume a water rights and litigation docket. NARF is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
Required Qualifications: JD degree from an accredited school of law, bar admission. Minimum five (5) years of relevant experience as a practicing attorney with an interest in federal Indian law, experience with, and knowledge of, Native American communities and culture; and experience with federal and/or state court litigation. Experience in water law is a plus. American Indians, Alaska Natives, and Native Hawaiians are encouraged to apply. The successful applicant will be required to be licensed in the selected office location or secure a license as soon as reasonably possible.
The salary range is $130,462 to $203,782 annually. This salary range is based on five (5) to twenty-four plus (24+) years of experience in the Denver Metro market. Actual salary will depend on years of experience, qualifications, and location.
