Laura Stinson is a member of the Tuscarora Indian Nation and a 3L at the University of Miami. Ms. Stinson graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a major in Biology. Ms. Stinson recently served as an intern for the Court of Appeals at the Federal Circuit in Washington D.C. and as an extern for the Miccosukee Tribe of Indians. Before law school, Laura worked for the National Indian Health Board and the Permanent Forum Member for Indigenous Issues at the United Nations. Ms. Stinson has long advocated for clean drinking water, adequate access to healthcare, and environmental conservation among American Indians and Alaska Natives.
