Munger Tolles & Olson : Jay Fujitani 1L Diversity Summer Program
Applications are now open for the 2021 Jay Fujitani 1L Diversity Summer Program. 1L Scholars are full participants in our summer associate program, working closely with attorneys in various practice areas on substantive assignments and participating in firm life through attorney lunches, training programs and social events.
In 2021, Munger, Tolles & Olson is pleased to offer 1L Scholar positions in our Los Angeles and San Francisco offices. Following firm policy and the guidance of public health officials, Munger Tolles will determine whether the program will be held virtually or in person closer to the summer program start date.
1L Scholars also have the option to work for up to four weeks: (1) at a law-related non-profit organization of their choice, or (2) in the legal department of one of a select roster of current firm clients. 1L scholars will continue to receive their weekly salary from the firm while working at their non-profit or in-house placement.
Upon successful completion of the Jay Fujitani 1L Diversity Summer Program, 1L Scholars will be considered for a touchback to spend a portion of their 2L summer at Munger, Tolles & Olson.
